Marketing and Sales Cloud

The customer is a designer and retailer of Portable Video Card Players in Geneva, Switzerland. The customer wanted to ramp up Sales and Marketing activities and was looking for a scalable solution.

The customer was using Spreadsheets and legacy methods to track leads and other KPIs. As the sales team was spread across Europe, the platform should also support German, French, Italian and English languages. Learnings from challenges faced should be recorded and made available for the teams to use.

The Spagylo Team started with collecting and analyzing the client’s existing business model, day to day activities. We proposed Marketing and Sales Cloud and gave a demo of the regular work that they will perform on the Salesforce. Once we got a go ahead the Sales and Marketing Cloud applications were customized and set up. Lead and Customer information from existing spreadsheets were loaded using Data Loader. Users, Profiles, Roles, Campaigns were set up. Multilingual solutions were enabled, translations were obtained from the client and the initial translation set was uploaded and tested for all three languages. Salesforce Knowledge was configured for the required audience and article types were created, to enable the users to upload various types of content. Upcoming and ongoing campaigns were created. Required dashboards and reports were set up.

The client was delighted to get a customized and integrated solution that caters to his needs and at the same time can be extended when their business needs change. Sales and marketing people in the team can now use the language for the day to day work that they are more comfortable with. The conversion rate for Salesforce deals increased by 20% as the team was able to make use of going through the past failed opportunities, the reasons, the suggested approach etc in the Knowledge base.
